Youth Services
Youth Employment Services (YES) Program

This program helps youth, ages 16-22, referred from Northeast Delta Human Services Authority, with obtaining and maintaining employment.  Youth are provided case management, job preparation skills training, job placement, retention and career planning services.  The program serves individuals in Lincoln, Ouachita, Union, Morehouse, Franklin, Jackson, Richland, Caldwell, Madison, Tensas, East Carroll and West Carroll Parishes. This program is supported by a grant from the Community Foundation of North Louisiana and the United Way of Northwest Louisiana Grant Fund of the Community Foundation and Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana.

Behavioral Health Youth Employment Services Program
                                
This program helps youth, ages 16-22, referred from Northeast Delta Human Services Authority, with obtaining and maintaining employment.  Youth are provided case management, job preparation skills training, job placement, retention and career planning services.  The program serves individuals in Lincoln, Ouachita, Union, Morehouse, Franklin, Jackson, Richland, Caldwell, Madison, Tensas, East Carroll and West Carroll Parishes.  Our program is managed by the Northeast Delta Human Services Authority in partnership with LCS.

Youth Reintegration Program

The Crossroads Program is a referral-based program through the Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice that serves youth ages 10-21. This program serves at-risk, previously incarcerated youth and their families in the community by providing education services, case management, life skills training, job readiness training, job placement and retention services. This program is serves youth in Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Jackson, Natchitoches, Sabine, Red River, Desoto and Webster parishes. This program is funded by the Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice and is free to program participants.

Good Transitions

The Good Transitions program is a referral-only program through the Department of Children and Family Services and the Office of Juvenile Justice that serves youth ages 14-21. Its goal is to help prepare youth who are aging out of foster care or have recently aged out of care to become independent by developing skills and supportive services needed to transition into adulthood and assume personal responsibility for their daily care. The program serves Rapides, Vernon, Grant, Winn, Concordia, Avoyelles, LaSalle, Catahoula, Caddo, Bossier, Sabine, Natchitoches, Red River, Desoto, Webster, Bienville, Claiborne, and Jackson parishes. This program is free to program participants.

E2 Program

Education + Employment = Success The E2 Program provides at-risk youth between the ages of 17 and 22 with free GED instruction, life skills, work readiness and financial literacy training and offers employment at Goodwill while completing their training. Participants will prepare to transition into further education while learning transferable technical skills through employment. This program is funded by Capital One Bank and the Northwest Louisiana Human Services District and is made possible by Bossier Parish Community College and Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana. This program is free to program participants.

GoodSteps:

This program serves at-risk youth ages 13-17 1/2 who have already been involved with the Caddo Parish Juvenile Drug Court.  This program works to enhance the participants' self-esteem, motivation, communication skills, job skills and education.  This program serves Caddo Parish and is funded by the Caddo Parish Juvenile Drug Court.
