Outreach – Outreach Placement provides job readiness training, job placement, and job retention to people living in rural areas throughout ten parishes in northwest Louisiana. The parishes served are: Caddo, Bossier, Bienville, Claiborne, Desoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, Webster, and Winn.
Sheltered Employment – This program provides training and career development for people with disabilities. Job training is provided at Goodwill sites and covers a wide array of production and functioning levels. The sheltered employees work closely with their supervisor to improve their skills for possible employment in the community.
Job Placement – The Job Placement program provides job readiness training, placement, and job retention services for people with barriers to employment. This program is open to the public and no client is turned away. Goodwill teaches a one-day job readiness class and then offers additional coaching, job placement, and job retention services.
Supported Employment – The Supported Employment Program is a referral only program through the Department of Social Services’ Louisiana Rehabilitation Center. It provides job training, job placement and job retention for people with severe disabilities.
Youth Services – The Youth Services program serves at-risk and previously incarcerated youth in the community by providing education reorientation, case management, life skills training, job readiness, placement, and retention services. The Youth Services program serves youth ages 16-22.
Evacuee Placement – The Evacuee Placement program provides Gulf Coast evacuees with job readiness training, job placement, and retention services. In addition, the program aids evacuees in re-establishing their lives and families in a new community by providing complete referral services. The Evacuee Placement program serves Caddo, Bossier, Bienville, Claiborne, Desoto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, Webster, and Winn parishes.
