The Women’s Auxiliary acts as a support group to all employees of North Louisiana Goodwill Industries. The Auxiliary opened Goodwill’s original Unique Shoppe on Line Ave. in August, 1966. It is at the Unique Shoppe where the Women’s Auxiliary make and sell their handcrafted gifts. The Auxiliary holds two major special events, the Holiday Craft and Collectible Show in November and the Easter Basket Sale in the Spring.

Services provided by the Women’s Auxiliary include:

• Help with the Coats for Kids Drive in January.
• Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for all Goodwill employees.
• Celebrating Goodwill Employee Birthdays
• Providing patio equipment and furniture for the Employee lounge and garden area at the main plant.

The Women’s Auxiliary has given numerous donations and has provided extra support for North Louisiana Goodwill Industries. Their support is greatly appreciated.
